Single switch installation:
1. Place the cooling fan switch near the thermostat housing behind the distributor assembly on the left side of the engine. Switch cable color should be green and black.
2. Disconnect the cable terminal of the cooling fan switch.
3. Let the engine coolant temperature close to 196-203°F (91-95°C).
4. Use an appropriate ohmmeter or connectivity tester to check the connectivity between the switch terminals of the two fans. The fan switch should be on (switch closed) at the above temperature. When the temperature drops 5-15°F (3-8°C) from the temperature at which the switch is first switched on (switch closed), the switch should not be switched on (switch off).
5. If the switch does not operate within the information provided, allow the engine to cool below 100°F (37°C) and replace the switch.
Wiring Note: For two red lines, connect the long red line to the fan and the short red line to the battery.
1. Install the relay as conveniently as possible under the hood near the fan.
Note: Do not use PTFE tape or threaded compounds on thermostats or adapters. In order to operate properly, the thermostat must be grounded to the engine through a thread, and the engine must be grounded.
2. Install the thermostat in the head or intake manifold. Connect the black wire to the thermostat and cut to the appropriate length. Crimp the red terminal to the black wire and connect it to the thermostat.
3. Route the red line and connect it to the fan "+" terminal or the power cord from the fan motor with "to electric fan" printed on it.
4. Install the supplied circuit breaker in a convenient location as close as possible to the power supply you use for the fan relay (battery or large terminal on the starting solenoid valve).
5. Neatly route the red line from the relay to the side circuit breaker installed in the step. Cut to appropriate length and install using small yellow ring terminals. Use another small yellow ring terminal to remove the remaining red line and connect the unused terminal on the circuit breaker to the battery source. This wire is stamped with the words "Connect to battery/constant heat"
6. Connect the brown wire to the ignition switch or fan switch (Choose the more convenient way).
Installation Note:
1. Turn off the engine and replace the new cooling fan temperature switch when the water in the engine radiator cools to room temperature.
2. Avoid high external heat sources after installation.
3. Avoid spilling water on the surrounding car parts during installation.

This test must be conducted using coolant as water has a lower boiling point than the temperature required by some sensors. Please perform this process in a safe and well ventilated area. Do not inhale any fog produced by heating the coolant. Wear protective goggles and avoid connect with any heated components. Do not use heating devices that produce open flames.
