The 150 mm hood SFH18 was developed by the Wehrmacht in the 11th World War used on all major fronts. It was developed in the 20s and 30s by Rheinmetall and Krupp, one of the most important artillery companies in Germany, to optimise resources and technological skills within the parameters set in the Versailles contract. From 1933, the German reupgrade planning became increasingly ambitious, whereby the production of hoavitas and field cannons increased particularly strongly. The SFH18 had a simple and reliable structure with a maximum range of 13.5 km. It could be divided into two sections and pulled by horses or more frequently during war on half-rails. The SFH18 had a crew of seven. On the same car (sK 10.5 cm) a version has been developed with a calibre of 105 mm, which is characterised by the longer barrel but was made in a few copies that were much heavier than the standard LeFH18 of 105 mm, which was delivered as field imagery cannon.
