I was very lucky as a small child when she was in my hometown of Cinti Ohio to visit a nearby Monastery and my parents took me with them to see her. As she came through the crowd... she saw me, the only child present, and reached through to grab my hand and blessed me while saying a prayer under her breath. It is a frozen moment in time that I will never forget for as long as live. Many years later, when I came across this quote, I knew I wanted to make it into a piece of jewelry. The hand cut-out heart felt necessary as she so represented love throughout the life she had led. Human beings connect looking into one another's eyes but a smile is the real exchange that makes this world go 'round.
