Introduction:
The kit covers the timing belt replacement on Ford 1.6 duratec engine with the variable valve timing.The camshaft, the crankshaft and the flywheel pins are also suitable for many other petrol and diesel ford engines.
Use to lock the camshaft in the timed position when the engine repair or the rebuild requiring the cam pulley to be removed and timed.For locking the camshaft in the position to allow the variable valve timing pulley to be removed.
The kit covers later duratec petrol engine,it includes revised design camshaft setting plate and tensioner pulley locking pin,and also covers the completed range of Ford duratec engine 1.25 through 2.0 16v in the both belt and chain drive variant.
