This retransfer printer has the ability to produce professional-looking and secure ID cards using high-definition over-the-edge printing. Using retransfer technology provides both reliable and durable print quality. The printhead never comes in contact with the ID cards, but rather, the card images are printed on a clear, retransfer film that is fused to the card surface. ID Cards printed with retransfer technology are more secure and durable than any other form of printing The flexible modular design is fully customizable to allow to configure the printer to your needs and can be easily upgraded to any additional features in the even your needs change. The HDP5600XE printer is capable of printing 150 cards per hour and supports CR 80 cards in thickness between 30 mil and 50 mil.
