WEICON Contact VA 1401 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive 30 g PROPERTIES: The liquid adhesive is medium viscous & very economical. One drop is enough for approx. 3 to 5 cm² adhesive surface. APPLICATION: WEICON Contact VA 1401 shows good curing on fabric, paper, cardboard, foam rubber and large-pored elastomers. It is a universal type for bonding metals, plastics and rubber, both to each other and to each other. WEICON CA-Primer can be applied to the adhesive surface to improve the adhesion of plastics that are difficult to bond (e.g. PE, PP, POM, PTFE), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and silicones. PROCESSING: Clean & dry adhesive surfaces. Mechanically roughen smooth surfaces. Apply the adhesive only to one of the surfaces to be bonded with a layer thickness of min. 0.05mm & max. 0.2mm & relative humidity of 40 to 80%, otherwise curing is not ensured. For large-area bonding, the contact adhesive must be applied pointwise to avoid internal stresses. STORAGE: WEICON contact adhesives have a shelf life of at least 9 months when stored unopened at room temperature and in a dry & preferably dark place; at temperatures around +5°C they have a shelf life of 12 months.
