This stainless steel bolt mounts directly under the steering stem cap of a K1600 GT/GTL, as well as R1200RT, RT-LC and other similar models that have the threaded rod under the stem cap. CNC machined out of a solid 1-piece stainless steel bar. This is a high quality part that we finish off with a genuine 1" RAM ball. The ball threads directly into the open end of the screw. You can then add any RAM double-socket arms and RAM accessories (sold separately) onto this 1" ball (B-size from RAM), such as X-grip cell phone and tablet holders, GPS mounts, etc. Please note that the steering cap must be removed to install this blot. You can re-install the cap back on but you will need to drill it for the SS bolt to go through it, or just leave the cap removed permanently.
