This differential seal installer is a double-sided tool to install both the rear output shaft seal and the RH input shaft seal in the AAM.

Installation:
The rear output shaft seal is a two-piece cassette type design. The seal ID is press fit onto the rear output shaft, and the seal OD is press fit into the rear housing. The seal inner shell must be aligned to a specific heiqht relative to the outer shell to maintain production specifications. The RH input shaft sealis a double-lip design. The seal installs into the right case half bore to a specific depth. Installation to an incorrect depth will restrict the cover weep/drain hole.

Tips for Use:
DT-51467-Ais used with J-42176 driver handle. Unapproved methods may damage the seals, or will not properly place the seals,resulting in less than designed sea ife
