When the USB is powered, it needs to pass through a 500mA self-recovery fuse, so when the USB is powered, the current exceeds 500mA, the circuit will brake and disconnect, and stop working, which is to prevent the short circuit from causing damage to the board.
If the required current is greater than 500mA, it can be powered from the VIN port, and the power supply range of the VIN port is 6.5-12V (peak value 18V).
The VIN port input has a diode protection to prevent reverse connection. Generally speaking, the USB power supply is safe, and the VIN port power supply can output 5V and 3.3V stably.
USB to TTL uses CH340G serial port IC, the data transmission is very stable, and it is very convenient to download programs through the USB port. 4 LED indicators, you can discharge to observe the working status.
