Set. Food! has developed a research-based, pediatrician-recommended approach to safely, effectively, and gradually introduce infants to some of the highest food allergens. Pediatricians recommend one-at-a-time infant allergy introductions, starting at four months of age, to help support early baby allergy introduction. Our 3 Stage System Mix-in system starts with our Stage 1 Mix-ins, which introduce peanut, egg, and milk and are added to bottles and organic baby foods. These baby food allergy mix-ins come as individual packets that are given over the course of 15 or 30 days. The beginning packets introduce milk, the next packets introduce egg while maintaining exposure to milk, followed by the introduction of peanut while maintaining exposure to milk and egg. Stage 2 Mix-ins are designed to maintain continued exposure to those top 3 allergens, and must be consistently given for at least 2 months.
