ComStar's CF-20 is an internal coil and system cleaner specifically formulated to break down and dissolve hardened carbon deposits after a compressor failure or burnout. CF-20 also removes acid deposits and water from a system's coils and lines. This unique product will clean the interior of coil lines in refrigeration or air conditioning systems after a compressor burnout and/or before a new compressor is installed. It can be used in refrigeration or air conditioning systems that utilize mineral, POE, PAG, or alkyl benzene type refrigeration oil and is compatible with CFC, HCFC, HFC or HFO refrigerants. CF-20 is CFC-free, biodegradable, non-flammable, non-chlorinated, low V.O.C. leaves no residue and will not contaminate the oil or refrigerants. In addition, CFC has a phased evaporation rate. CF-20 is safer and easier to use than chlorinated and flammable solvents. CF-20 can clean refrigerant recovery, recycling, and/or reclaim equipment as well as all refrigeration and air conditioning mechanical parts. It can be used to eliminate mineral oil residue from systems before changing over to synthetic oil. CF-20 dosage is approximately 1 gallon per ton. To clean an entire system fill with CF-20 and circulate throughout the system using a pump.
