Cut especially for youth, Xcel's 8-ounce 4-way performance stretch fabric top is designed from fibers to finished product for maximum sun protection. The fabric is rated UltraViolet Protection Factor (UPF) 50+, the highest-possible rating, for Excellent sun protection, blocking over 98% of harmful UVA/UVB radiation from the sun. A small elastic "Loop It Or Lose It!" centered waist loop can be tied to boardshorts or other bottoms for a more secure fit. The waist opening is lined with stretch fabric binding for comfort.
