ASI 2170190, Type A2-M6, is a package of 100 non-insulated ring terminals that are UL Listed for 8 AWG, can be used with a 1/4" stud and can be crimped with one of the many tools available from ASI. The A-M ring terminals are constructed with an electrolytic copper which has been heat treated or annealed to strengthen the terminal especially between the crimp and tongue. The wire barrel of this 8 gauge crimp lug has a length that is optimized for ideal crimping and the inspection hole at the end allows you to check for proper insertion of the wire. This 8 AWG ring terminal for use with a 1/4" stud is tin-plated to avoid oxidation making it ideal for most environments. Cordless hydraulic crimping tools B15MA, B35-50MA, B500A and B1500A are available to ensure that a proper crimp is accomplished during wire termination.
