Phottix presents its new Solas light windows with traditional mounting system (rods). Available in octa, linear and rectangular formats. Light windows are among the most popular light modifiers among photographers, both in studio and outdoors. Phottix, the brand specializing in photographic accessories and studio photography equipment, presents a new range of traditional light windows (ring-rods type): the Phottix Solas. These new windows incorporate new materials and are lighter, maintaining the lighting quality and durability characteristics already common in the light windows of the brand. There are four different models of Solas light windows, each offering something spatial to each photographer: one octa, one rectangular and two linear (Strip). Solas light windows are manufactured in a new material called SL-Tech, which allows them to be both light and robust, with fire and heat resistance properties. The SL-Tech fabric is also highly reflective to minimize light loss, which is very durable to withstand years of assembly and dismantling without bending or changing shape. Adaptor rings (purchased separately) All Phottix Solas windows include interior diffuser, outdoor diffuser, mounting rods and grids (honeycomb). Adaptor mounting rings (speed rings) must be purchased separately, with models available for Bowens, Elinchrom and Profoto systems.
