Silver increases both shadows and highlights, yields a high-contrast image without changing the color of the available light. Perfect for video, product shots, B&W photography.

Gold creates a natural, golden fill that is great for sunsets, jewelry, achieves warm glowing soft skin tones for portraiture.

White produces an even, soft neutral-colored bounce light as a fill light source for both product shots & indoor/outdoor portraits. It brightens up the shadows to produce a softer light.

Black stops sun or window light, block out unwanted light, prevents unwanted shadows, or create dramatic lighting effects. It is used to subtract light & create shadows in certain areas.

A translucent panel/portable diffuser is usually held directly above the subject to soften the natural light. It goes between the light source and the subject. It diffuses light, producing a broad light source & a soft wrap around effect
