This cable directly connects any 4G/LTE/5G modem/router with SMA Female cell connector to any external antenna that has an N Female connector. CNot all cable is made the same! Our cable is industry leading with the lowest signal loss available. Signal loss is approximately 5db per 100ft of cable (1.6dB per 10m). Lower numbers are better. To determine your break-even point for cable length divide your antenna gain by 0.05. Example 5dBi antenna = 5 / 0.05 = 100ft. This means with a 100ft cable, you are now at zero net gain for your 5dB gain antenna. In situations where the signal outside is good (3-5 bars), you can typically increase the cable length past the break even without a problem. If the signal outside is poor (1 bar), it is recommended to keep the cable length as short as possible. Need help?
