LOVE, TRADITION, AND HANDCRAFT Dalahorse manufacturing since 1928 in Nusnäs, Sweden The brothers Nils and Jannes Olsson were born into a poor family in Nusnäs, one of the villages in which the first Dala horses were made. They had to help with their livelihood early on by carving horses after school. In 1928, when they were only 13 and 15 years old, the brothers took out a loan of 400 riksdalers to buy a bandsaw and the first small Dala horse factory saw its light. The brothers contributed to a cultural heritage that has also become the symbol of Sweden. The Dala horse. A symbol that is spread all over the world and that has its heart and origin in Nils Olsson's handicraft in Nusnäs. Dala Horses is not only a great décor and additional ornament to your house design but also a great toy for your kids. Because it is made of wood it is safe and won't require much cleaning and preservation, unlike other Dala horses that are made from ceramic or glass the wooden Dala horse could last longer and you will never have to worry if it is going to break easily. Our Dala Horse comes in different colors so you can choose the color you like the most and match it with your house color theme and preference. Dala horses are unique and give a good impression to those who receive them not only for their beautiful color design but their character is shown in a painting by skilled hands making them a perfect addition to your house ornaments.
