Teaching multiple biology classes on a tight budget? Let us help! This kit contains 100 small Barn Owl pellets, Teachers Guide and 15 Bone Sorting Sheets. The pellets are whole specimens - not bits and pieces, heat treated and foil wrapped. They are our small grade - 1.25 to 1.5 in. and contain the remains of at least one prey. The pellets are packed in a sturdy 1 gallon bucket with lid for convenient storage between classes. Mountain Home Biological has been supplying pellets since 1994. All pellets are sorted, dried, heat treated and wrapped in our facility in White Salmon, Washington and monthly samples are submitted to an independent lab for testing. Soak pellet in water for 2-3 mintues prior to dissecting.
