This specially designed drill chuck guard gives full protection from quill to drill point by the smooth telescopic action of the guard which collapses as the drill penetrates the work piece, returning to the extended position when the spindle is raised. This unit is made from injection molded high impact polycarbonate which offers clear and safe vision through body and visor. In the operating position the guards are securely locked in the closed position by a spring loaded plunger pin assembly.
