  • POWER OVER ETHERNET FOR NON-POE DEVICES: This splitter can take an IEEE 802.3bt ( 4PPoE ) /at/af Gigabit connection from a PoE Switch or injector and "split" it into two separate outputs: a DC output with power up to 51 W (12 V / 4.25 A) through either a barrel-plug socket (in the style of a power adapter / adaptor) or a terminal-block, and a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet data link.

With a simple Ethernet cable connected to your PoE++ Switch or injector, this Splitter can give up to 51 W to a non-PoE device in tough or industrial environments via your choice of output — a 2-pin terminal block or a DC jack — and still provide a gigabit network connection. It's a great choice for non-PoE cameras, laptops, and other devices that require a power adapter, and it's cheaper in both time and money than hiring an electrician.
