The WS2812 integrated light source is the latest advance in the quest for a simple full color LED and we have integrated it into a push button. The red, green, and blue LEDs are integrated alongside a driver chip into a tiny surface-mount. The LED requires a microcontroller (such as an Arduino) and some programming to light up.
