Peacock Ore is the common name for the mineral Chalcopyrite, particulary when the surface has tarnished or oxidised to display beautiful iridescent colours. These pieces display a stunning rainbow of sparkling colour. Chalcopyrite combines the warmth and expansion of copper and the sunny disposition and clearing properties of sulphur with the warrior-like strength of iron.
