Red Hot Blue Glue is a low-VOC, PVC pipe cement with a rapid set time that makes work more efficient. This formula is also safe for potable water, and is rated for pressure, non-pressure, conduit, drain, duct, DWV, and sewer applications. Use Red Hot Blue Glue on PVC up to 4". Local codes may allow use without first applying primer on pressure systems less than 4" and on non-pressure systems up to 6". Christy's Purple Primer is a strong primer that softens the mating surfaces of PVC fittings and pipe to receive PVC cement better. Primer is recommended for pipes sized 2-1/2" to 6" and is optional or code-dependent for smaller pipes.
