  • This “Abimars” boat anchor, sand anchor is made for any watercraft up to 25'(kayaks, motor boat), Unlike some of the anchors in the market that only has one turn on the corkscrew, this anchor has three turns giving it a little bit more anchoring power. It can withstanding 70mph gusts.
  • The spike/auger section is one piece and solid, all made from strong polished 304 stainless steel totaling 17” long (including the top ring) with 1/2” OD (outside diameter). The handle is made with 1/2” OD stainless steal with sponge hand grips on both ends. Load Capacity: 4400 lbs.
  • The double braided nylon dock line is about 30% stronger than the 3 strand twisted rope, highly durable to act as a perfect shock absorber. The nylon material can resist the harsh marine environment. Double braid is ideal for docking, combining decreased stretch with increased shock absorption.
  • We also offer red float & string that attached to the eye of the anchor/auger piece, It would assist in finding it if it fell over or seas whipped up, and help with visibility on top of the water so no one would run into it. The kit comes with a nicely made storage bag.
  • The screw design works best in loose soil/sandy ground areas(Soil that is too hard will make it difficult to screw the anchor in.). It can go into shallow water, deep water, a beach, or a sandbar, the spiral design works as a screw to drive itself deeper if you just add rotational force.
