These Miraculous Medal holy water bottles are made of a thick glass with a screw-on top. Each bottle features a beautiful embossed oval relief of the front of the Miraculous Medal (note that it does not include the back of the Miraculous medal). The Holy Water bottle dimensions are 2 3/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide by 3/4" thick. The silver plated embossed metal image is raised and curved to make it 3-dimensional. The face plate is 1 5/16" tall by 7/8" wide. These Holy Water bottles are made in Italy. Known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, the Miraculous Medal image was revealed to St. Catherine Laboure by the Blessed Virgin Mary in a vision in 1830. This medal is believed to bring special intercessions on behalf of the Blessed Virgin Mary if worn with faith and devotion at the hour of death.
