This 550 Paracord is the Commercial Grade version of the Military “550” Parachute Cord. Our 550 Paracord uses all new materials and undergoes many of the same manufacturing steps as the Military 550 Cord. This particular Type III Commercial Grade 550 Cord differentiates from other paracords due to its' full seven strand core. The seven individual cabled inner core strands can be used for sewing thread, fishing lines, and many other survival uses; making our cord very versatile.
