The Holga 135BC 35mm film camera differs from the original 120 film versions in that it features an internal mask which cuts the image corners, creating a soft vignetting effect - hence the name BC, or "Black Corner", version. The 135BC offers a choice between f/8 or f/11, or "cloudy" and "sunny", aperture settings, along with 1/100 sec. or bulb shutter speed settings. The bulb setting allows the shutter to stay open for as long as necessary for long exposures. This makes it possible to do night photography, getting images without a flash in low light situations, or even painting with light. The simple zone focusing system provides focusing from as close as 3' away to infinity.
