Anyone who has witnessed a Regatta or has been fortunate enough to participate in a competition can tell you there is no other experience like it. A Regatta is a term used to describe a series of boat racing events of naturally-powered watercraft, most commonly a series of either sailing, gondola, or yacht races. A Regatta often includes social and promotional activities which surround the racing event and (with the exception of class championships) is usually named for the town or venue where the event takes place. The Southern Marsh Regatta Tee pays homage to a sport that adds some adventure to our unique Southern culture.
