Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a "kerf" which precisely matches the blade on your saw. These 1/2" thick inserts are precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate. Offer durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts.
