Operation
How to keep the drill bit on target
(1) You can start drilling at an angle, with the edge of the drill bit making a C slot and then getting the drill bit up to vertical.
(2) You can manually guide the drill bit with wet sponge
(3) You can make your own guide out of plywood - plastic or even a card board. All you need is to keep the drill bit in place until it makes the initial marks.
How to drill correctly:
1.Firstly, mark the point where you want to drill the hole;
2.Next, fix the drill at the angle of 45°to make a drilling trace at a high rotating speed;and add water during the drilling process;
3.Then drill vertically from the other side of the drilling trace at a slow speed to prevent breakthrough.
How to keep the tool cool
a- You can build a mini water dam around the hole with plumbers putty.
b- You can choose to spray water on the drill bit.
c- You can use running water to cool the drill bit.

Note:
1. Not suitable for concrete or concrete deeper than 1/2 inch.
2. If you smell a burning odor, step back! Too fast or stressed.
3. Water should be used as a lubricant and coolant when drilling, which will greatly extend the service life of the drill.
