Product Specifications: This extra-thin (XS D) v2.9 motherboard provides 128MB of SDR SDRAM memory for cores requiring large memory (>512KB) including Neo Geo cores. While for has incorporated DDR3 RAM, it has high latency and is not suitable for the times required by retro EDO DRAM. Therefore, if the kernel requires accurate memory synchronization, the built-in DDR3 cannot be used.
You can rest assured that every extra-thin SDRAM board (XS D) v2.9 128 MB has been tested at 130 MHz for more than an hour with the Mister MemTest utility (126 MHz is the fastest speed currently required for any core). Each memory module was then subjected to an immersion test with Jotego's 48 MHz and 96 MHz SDRAM test cores. Finally, live testing with Neo Geo cores, Acorn Archimedes (Archie) cores, SEGA MEGA CD cores, and Neo Geo games, including Metal Slug 3 and Bad Neo Geo demos, require 128MB modules to play, these extensive tests to make sure there are no problems.
