One of the 12 surviving castles in Aomori's Hirosaki City, this historic structure, built during the Edo period, features a well-preserved keep and turrets, designated as an important cultural property of Japan. In 2015, the keep was relocated for stone wall repairs. Known for its cherry blossoms, Hirosaki Park is also a renowned spot.
