The Streamlight 14516 Sidewinder III is an ultra-compact, high-output, multi-fuel flashlight built for hands-free use in the field. A 185-degree tilting body and integrated belt/gear clip let you position the beam exactly where you need it, and the light runs on one AA alkaline battery or 1 x non-rechargeable battery (both included), with a lithium AA option for extended operation from -40 degrees F to 150 degrees F. On the included non-rechargeable battery, the white LED delivers up to 275 lumens, 3,200 candela, and a 113-meter beam on high, stepping down to a Survival Mode that runs over 100 hours on low. On AA alkaline, output is 140 lumens and 1,800 candela with 70+ hours on low. This Military model is equipped with fixed white, red, blue, and IR LEDs, each offering 4 brightness levels plus strobe. Built from high-impact, super-tough nylon with O-ring-sealed openings and a scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens, this light is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes, 3-meter impact-resistance tested, and meets MIL-STD-810H, Method 512.6. It fits existing Sidewinder mounts and adapters, and Streamlight backs the light itself with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects (batteries excluded).
