Product description:
Reliable CP2102 chipset: Built on the stable and trusted CP2102 chip, it automatically generates a virtual COM port upon installation. This ensures stable performance and compatibility with a wide range of systems.
USB-powered, 3.3V/5V output: The module is powered via the USB port and provides 3.3V (max. 40mA) and 5V output pins, as well as GND, TXD, RXD and RST pins. All signal lines use 3.3V TTL logic(positive logic), making it compatible with most 3.3V or 5V devices.
On-board indicators: Includes three lights. When the driver is correctly installed, the power/status light remains lit, whilst the transmit and receive light flash during communication. The higher the baud rate, the lower the brightness, facilitating visual monitoring of transmission activity.
Flexible baud rates and communication formats: Supports baud rates from 300 bps to 1 Mbps, as well as various serial communication protocols.
Settings:
Data bits: 5, 6, 7 or 8
Stop bits: 1, 1.5 or 2
Parity: None, odd, even or marked
Buffer and flow control support: Built-in 1-byte receive buffer and 640-byte transmit buffer. Supports hardware flow control and X-ON/X-OFF software handshaking. Supports USB suspend mode via the SUSPEND pin and line-detection.
TTL and RS232 logic explanation: The module uses TTL logic (0V equals logic 0, +3.3V or +5V equals logic 1), i.e., forward logic. In contrast, RS232 uses an inverting signal (-12V to -3V equals logic 1, +3V to +12V equals logic 0)
Wide operating system compatibility: Fully compatible with Windows 98SE, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 10, 11, Mac OS 9/X, and Linux kernel version 2.4 and above.
Industrial temperature range: Operates stably between -40 degrees Celsius and +85 degrees Celsius, suitable for harsh environments and industrial applications.
Package includes: 1 piece CP2102 USB 2.0 to TTL module
