This Stabowmount is two bow mounts in one. The magnetic phone adapter backs off with the same GoPro thumb screw that holds your camera, so the same part is a magnetic phone mount one minute and a standard action camera mount the next. Your stabilizer's own threaded rod passes through an open slot and screws into the bow, so the mount clamps between the riser and the stabilizer on hardware you already own. It has no threads of its own, so fitment does not depend on your bushing size. Adapter on, snap up any MagSafe phone, including Android in a Qi2 magnetic case. Adapter off, load a GoPro, Insta360, or any two prong action camera. Not everyone owns an action camera. If the only camera you have is the phone in your pocket, this mount films with it, and the base mount underneath is ready if you add one later. About the magnet, plainly. MagSafe-compatible alignment rings line your phone up the same way every time. The shot jars it, but the more common way a phone comes off is a bump while you handle the bow: walking in, climbing, turning in a stand. Run a lanyard between your phone and your bow so a knock does not put it on the ground. Run a MagSafe or Qi2 case, or no case at all, because a thick case or one without magnets weakens the hold. If you shoot heavy draw weight, pull the adapter and run an action camera. The mount adds 0.25 in. (6.4 mm) at the stabilizer joint. If your stabilizer has short threads or you run a harmonic damper, check that you have that much extra thread engagement before you order. Hand tighten only, no wrench.
