We designed BFS Ultralight to be the thinnest line available. The 4lb test measures just .0020 inches (.053mm) - the diameter of 0.4lb monofilament. That means longer casts with featherweight lures, less water resistance, and presentations that finicky fish never see coming. When trout, crappie, panfish and pressured creek bass shy away from thicker lines, this ultra thin pe braid keeps them biting.

Every size is rated with actual FG knot break strength: 4lb tests at 7.2lb, 6lb at 9.0lb, 8lb at 10.8lb, 10lb at 12.6lb, 12lb at 14.4lb and 15lb at 16.2lb. Tie on a light fluorocarbon leader and fish with total confidence.
