GY-ADS1015 12-Bit ADC Converter Module – Compact Precision for Arduino Projects
The GY-ADS1015 is an ultra-small 12-bit precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) module, ideal for integration with Arduino and other development boards.
Key features include a wide power range of 2.0V to 5.5V, ensuring compatibility with various power sources. It boasts low current consumption: 150uA in continuous mode and automatic shutdown in single mode, optimizing energy efficiency.
The module supports a programmable data rate from 8SPS to 860SPS, paired with an internal low drift reference voltage source, internal oscillator, and internal PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier) for enhanced signal processing.
With an I2C interface, it offers flexible connectivity, and its 7-bit I2C addresses (0X48-0X4B) are selectable via a jumper, enabling multi-module setups without address conflicts. It provides four single-ended or two differential inputs, catering to diverse analog signal conversion needs.
Additionally, it includes a programmable comparator, adding versatility for custom threshold-based applications.
