Buy direct from THINBIT. MINI GROOVE 'N TURN 3 Pack MGTI050D5RCR002D 'M' Series, TiCN Coated carbide, Grooving insert. .050" wide, Corner Radius, .002" radius, .063" depth of cut. DURA-MAX 5000 carbide is a hard, abrasion resistant, sub-micron grain carbide with excellent edge and corner retention. This grade is recommended for cutting abrasive materials without an interrupted cut. TiCN is a multi-layer, PVD coating for cutting abrasive and difficult to machine materials such as aluminum, brass, bronze, copper and cast iron. TiCN provides excellent wear resistance and allows increased cutting rates. TiCN is harder and more impact resistant than TiN.
