Offers high performance and longer packing life. Rated to 482°F; rotation speed of 2,400 ft/min. Color is off-white. Tefpack synthetic shaft packing is a unique product. It is made from a strong and durable synthetic yarn impregnated with Teflon. This yarn is not subject to mold attack, making it rot-resistant and providing longer life and superior performance. Rated to 500°F; rotation speed of 3,000 ft/min. The color is dark gray—Graphtex is a blend of ultra-slick WL Gore fibers and graphite braided fibers, impregnated with Teflon to produce packing that delivers maximum performance. This packing has high thermal conductivity, providing superior heat dissipation and cooler shaft temperatures. Perfect for modern, high-RPM applications. Rated to 536°F; rotational speed of 4,400 ft./min. The color is black—Syntef Shaft Lubricant is a blend of Teflon and a tackifying material; it reduces friction and extends packing life.
