Amputee Essentials Calibrate Gel Squares are 4 x 4 inch gel squares made from mineral oil gel and used by amputees who are trying to find relief from specific trouble spots within their prosthetic socket. If you experienced a traumatic amputation resulting in scarring and/or hyper-sensitive skin grafts you should really consider these gel squares. These 4 x 4 inch gel squares can be cut to shape with a scissors and placed along affected areas of your limb. After applying these gel squares inside your prosthesis or directly onto your skin, you can expect the gel to release medical grade mineral oil intended to moisturize, soften and protect your skin. The mineral oil formula is also indicated for those amputees managing diabetes. If you require very targeted relief you may want to consider a Silipos Gel Dot or use a Calibrate Body Disc to manage socket rubbing issues.

Directions for UseWash and dry affected are of your skin. Cut Calibrate Gel Squares to shape if necessary with a scissors. Place Calibrate Gel Squares in contact with the skin. (For Gel Squares without self-adhesive backing, apply wrap dressing to hold it in place. Amputee Essentials suggests removing Gel Squares at least 3 to 4 hours daily to allow your skin to breathe.
Care InstructionsAmputee Essentials recommends that you hand wash Gel Squares with mild soap and rinse thoroughly. Air dry product and dust gel with talcum powder after drying.
