Q1: Negative current readings?
Swap VIN+/VIN- connections. Current must flow from VIN+ to Load to VIN- .
Q2: I2C communication failure?
① Confirm A0/A1 jumpers (default: both GND=0x40); ② Check pull-up resistors (4.7kΩ on SDA/SCL) .
Q3: Inaccurate >2A measurements?
Reduce sampling rate: High currents heat shunt resistor, altering resistance. Use 64x averaging max .
Q4: Need >3.2A range?
Replace shunt resistor: 0.01Ω enables ±32A (8mA resolution). Recalibrate via register 0x05 .
Q5: Voltage spikes damage module?
Add 100μF capacitor between VIN+/GND. Bus voltage must never exceed 26V! .
