It cautiously ventured into the clearing just outside the densely wooded area. Aided by its acute sense of smell, the hungry creature inched ahead, albeit a bit clumsily, toward its prey visible on the moonlit path ahead. For a feline, though, it seemed to lack deftness and agility. Nevertheless, it skulked forward toward its intended next meal, unaware that the trap had been set. This nocturnal predator, this Feral Cat, was itself being hunted -- but for what purpose?!
