Instructions for Use
1. Remove the headliner or carefully lift the detached section, clean the substrate surface, and ensure it is clean and dry.
2. In a well-ventilated area, apply the headliner adhesive evenly to the headliner substrate and the foam/fabric backing. It is recommended to apply a thin, even layer, avoiding excessive application.
3. Wait 1-3 minutes for the solvent in the adhesive to evaporate until the adhesive surface is touch-dry (it should feel slightly sticky to the touch but not stringy). This is the optimal time for bonding.
4. Align the ceiling with the desired position and apply it in one go. Gently press it down from the center outwards using a soft cloth or roller to remove air bubbles.
5. Optimal strength will be achieved within 24 hours of application. Avoid drastic temperature changes and heavy pressure during this period.
Precautions
1. Always operate in a well-ventilated area, away from open flames and heat sources.
2. Less is more. Excessive glue will seep into the fabric surface, causing lumps or contamination.
3. After use, tighten the cap and store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
