Locate the existing throttle motor assembly attached to the fuel injection pump or throttle body linkage. Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the old motor unit. Unfasten the mounting bolts securing the old throttle motor to its bracket or housing. Remove the old motor assembly without forcibly displacing the linkage arm. Position the throttle motor assembly onto the mounting points. Secure the unit with the retaining bolts to the manufacturer-specified torque value. Connect the electrical harness connector to the motor unit until a retaining click is confirmed. Reconnect the power supply. Verify functionality through system diagnostics or operational testing as outlined in the vehicle service manual.
