Blower Speed Controller (Resistor) for Paccar & Thomas Bus.The Bergstrom 1001401792 is the modern electronic equivalent of a blower resistor. Known as a "Linear Power Module" (LPM), this unit controls the fan speed in modern, and is compatible with, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Thomas Bus HVAC systems.
The Common Failure:
When these modules fail, the blower motor often gets stuck on High Speed (even with the controls off) or stops working entirely. Replacing this module restores variable speed control to your dash switch.
