For example: 200W 200R can withstand a maximum current of 1A, adjusted to 100Ohm, the withstand power is 100W, the withstand current is still 1A, instead of 200W 100R 1.4A.
2, the resistor will heat up after energized, the resistance value will become larger, the current will decrease.
The use of the process should also pay attention to heat dissipation, the temperature is reduced, the resistance will be relatively stable, such as temperature is too high, will lead to large deviations in resistance changes!
3, the resistor can not be fully energized for a long time, if you are energized for more than 10 minutes, we recommend that the power of the resistor is amplified 2-3 times (the higher the power of the resistor, the larger the volume, the better the heat dissipation)
4, this tube type resistor must be adjusted without power, loosen the screws before moving the adjustable ring, can easily move the adjustable ring, move to the position you need to tighten the screws can be. Adjustable ring can not slide on the tube body, it will lead to damage to the paint, high resistance specifications may lead to resistance wire breakage.
5, the resistor will be oxidized by power, the resistor wire will have traces of power, but also slightly discolored, this does not affect the use!

Note: For resistance values below 5 ohms, you need to loosen the adjusting ring to adjust the resistance value, and cannot slide directly.
The allowable deviation of standard resistance value of power-type adjustable wire wound resistor is ±5% (J level) ±10% (K level);
The power resistance of this product needs to be selected appropriately, (resistance adjustment, such as 1000W 0-100R adjustable resistance)
