Ensure reliable ignition for your commercial fryer with the Meter Star Universal Pilot Burner Assembly. This complete kit features a durable pilot burner and a 36-inch thermopile that generates a strong 750+ mV output—more than enough to reliably open the main gas valve, such as the common Robertshaw 700-506. Engineered for versatility, the assembly comes pre-equipped with an LP (Propane) orifice and includes an extra Natural Gas jet, allowing easy conversion between fuel types to suit your kitchen's setup. The included 1/4" compression fitting ensures a secure connection to standard gas tubing. This pilot is a direct replacement for a wide range of commercial fryer brands including Cecilware (e.g., FMP series), Frymaster, Lennox, Vulcan Hart (e.g., GF/HF series), Imperial, Hobart, Wolf, and Tri-Star. It is specifically designed to be compatible with systems using the Robertshaw 700-506 gas valve. Note: Gas tubing is not included. If the main valve fails to open, we recommend testing the pilot's thermopile output directly with a multimeter. A reading above 300mV is typically sufficient, as most valves require only about 200mV to open. Lower readings may indicate a connection issue with the thermostat or high-limit circuit.
