The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II lens is designed to be resistant to dust and moisture, making it a great option for outdoor photography. All seams are sealed and buttons and switches have silicone rubber gaskets, while the lens mount is sealed with a rubber ring. Additionally, the front element of the lens has a fluorine coating that repels water, oil, and other contaminants, making it easier to clean.
