The PNOZ s4 Safety Relay featuring positive guided relay outputs - 3 NO safety contacts, and 1 NC auxiliary contact with instantaneous action. Additionally, a semiconductor output is present for connecting to E-stop pushbuttons, safety gate limit switches, reset buttons, light barriers and similar equipment. The circuit is redundant with built-in self-monitoring with a safety function that remains effective in the case of a component failure.The PNOZsigma range provides maximum functionality in minimum width, this narrower width saves space within the control cabinet. Reduced wiring costs through push-in technology allows for rapid commissioning and high availability.The safety relay meets the requirements of EN 60947-5-1, EN 60204-1 and VDE 0113-1 and as safety component in accordance with the Lift Directive 95/16/EC and EN 81-1. The Lifts standard EN 81-1 defines the safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts; Part 1: Electric lifts.The PNOZ s4 has this approval and guarantees lift operators and lift manufacturers maximum functionality. At a width of 22.5 mm, PNOZ S4 achieves PL e of EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL claim 3.
