Install the crank remover: Screw the main thread of the crank remover into the threaded hole on the crank (make sure it's fully screwed in to avoid stripping), then unscrew the remover's push rod counterclockwise.
Release force: Using the included 16mm open-end wrench, hold the remover body in place, and use your other hand or a wrench to rotate the push rod clockwise. Apply even force to smoothly and steadily remove the crank from the bottom bracket without impact or damage.
